Don’t miss out the great sporting action expected this Tuesday and Wednesday in the top flight of the English football.
Right after Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 on Sunday to lift the Capital One Cup, football fans turn their attention back to the Premier League where many great sides are gearing up to face one another. According to UK gambling news, Manchester United will face a hostile atmosphere at St. James Park on Wednesday evening as they will clash with Newcastle United.
• Manchester United gear up for a test against Newcastle United
• The Gunners are strong favorites against QPR
• Stoke City will square off against Everton at home
Arsenal will have a great opportunity to make further progress up the table against Queens Park Rangers away as they bid to make their presence known in the Premier League. Everton will face another great test against Stoke City away, while Tottenham will likely be able to overcome Swansea at White Hart Lane.
Newcastle vs Manchester United and QPR vs Arsenal
Newcastle United currently sit in 11th spot with 35 points, however considering some of the talents that are present within their squad they could have done a little better. Over the course of the last 5 games they notched only 1 loss, however they blundered on other occasions drawing twice. They have also recorded 2 wins which have slightly boosted their chances 4.20 (16/5) for their upcoming game against the red Devils.
Louis van Gaal will be aiming to clinch a better position on the table with Manchester United as they currently stand in 4th place and in order to make immediate qualification for the Champions League they need to finish at least 3rd. while playing on the road they have recorded 3 wins, 7 draws and a 3 losses, which has propelled Bet365 to give them odds of 2.00 (1/1), while a tie for the match stands at 3.50 (5/2) an event that is rather likely.
Queens Park Rangers are currently undergoing some challenging times after a number of changes happened to the club. Luckily for them they managed to crawl out of the relegation zone and now occupy 17th position with 22 points, however they will still be vigilant not to get back in the danger areas. Over the last 5 games they managed to get only 1 win, whereas all the other encounters ended in losses.
Arsenal on the other hand have been in superb form lately having racked up 1 wins over the last 5 matches and recording only 1 loss in the process. They now sit in 3rd place with 51 points, so online online sportsbooks in UK strongly favor them for the win 1.53 (6/11) against QPR. A draw 4.33 (10/3) does not seem to be too likely while a win for The Hoops is out of the question 7.00 (6/1).
Stoke City vs Everton and Tottenham vs Swansea
Stoke City have not managed to make much of a difference as they have occupied the middle of the table for some time now. They sit in10th place with a total of 39 points and during the last 5 encounters they recorded 1 loss, 1 draw and 3 wins. While playing on their home ground, Britannia Stadium, they have won 6 times, while the other games ended in 2 draws and 5 losses. Their odds for the upcoming match against Everton stand at 2.50 (3/2).
The Toffees have not enjoyed the kind of success they were hoping for at the beginning of the season when they spent a great deal of money on striker Romelu Lukaku. Now they find themselves in 14th spot having won only once in the last 5 matches. Due to their poor run on the road (3 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses), they have been dealt lesser chances 3.10 (21/10). A draw between the two sides stands at 3.30 (23/10), an event that is somewhat likely.
And finally we will also take look at the game between Tottenham and Swansea. Spurs currently sit in 7th position boasting 44 points having recorded 7 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses at home. They have also racked up only 2 draws and 3 wins over the course of the last 5 games at White Hart Lane so they are viewed as strong favorites 1.75 (3/4), by Bet365.
Swansea sit 1 place below their upcoming opponents in 8th position with 40 points. Since their record while playing away from home is not that convincing (4 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses) online sportsbooks in UK have decided to brand them outsiders 5.25 (17/4) for this clash. A tie on the other hand stands at 3.80 (14/5), an event that does not seem too probable.
