Soon Facebook friends will become sportsbook makers with the latest social betting technology.
While the German gambling laws remain unclear, with Schleswig-Holstein being the most liberal state when it comes to casinos, German casino companies enter foreign markets with their latest amazing technologies.
As recently announced, German internet casino game developer, Crowdpark, is entering the online slots market with its Pet Vegas game. It is claimed to be the first social casino game where friends can challenge each other in pursuing the top of the leaderboard.
Furthermore, per German gambling news, the company is also offering Bet Tycoon game, which brings live betting to social platforms.
In the game, friends can bet with virtual currency on a variety of real events, including ways to bet on sports in Germany or in other countries. In addition, the players can create their own bets.
Yet another game, 90Live, will focus on soccer football betting. In light of upcoming Euro 2012 Championships in Poland and Ukraine, the launch of the new application seems timely.
So far, the Crowdpark games will be available on Facebook, however, the company is seeking to expand on other platforms. Crowdpark’s software enables real-time betting where gamblers can enter and leave the bets at anytime with real-time updates.
The software will also enable user comments to be placed about bets made to add to the entertainment. Thus, it appears, anyone will be able to become a bookmaker.
Facebook and other platforms are not the only place where the company seeks to enter the social media gambling. Crowdpark is seeking to make its technology available on smartphones, especially Android-based applications.
One thing is sure: online gambling and sports betting markets are evolving rapidly. The players will certainly continue to be entertained by this industry.
