PokerStars Sportsbook Enters Spanish Market

PokerStars representatives announced that the poker site is ready to launch its sports betting services in the Iberian country.

According to
online gambling sites in Spain, representatives of PokerStars have announced to create further developments withing the Western country. The popular poker site was given a permission from the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) to provide slot games and sports betting services.

PokerStars has already held a license in Spain, which allowed them to provide poker and casino table games, and now they have become an online sportsbook as well. The well-known poker site stated that their main focus will still remain the card game, however they wish to give satisfection to a wider range of customers with the new spotrs betting option.

PokerStars reached major achievements in recent times

PokerStars has been going through some changes and huge deveolpments in the past few months. For example, they have signed Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, world class football stars, to be their ambassadors. In addition, they released Roulette and Blackjack games on mobile platform and set a new record in live European poker tournaments, amoung many other superb achievements.

Spanish gambling news cite the word of Gino Appiotti, President of Southern European Operations for PokerStars, who has said that he is „very pleased to receive provisional licenses to expand our games offering on PokerStars in Spain.” Later on, he added that this deal proved that players trust their services and that is why they can keep improving by launching new games with new licenses.
