PokerStars announced the schedule for its third annual Turbo Championship of Online Poker offering $15 million worth prizes in 50 events.

The battles will start on January 23rdand will continue till February 2nd. The exciting star event offered by the online poker site is the $700 buy-in NL Hold’em on the last day of the tournament, featuring the amazing $2 million guaranteed prize pool and at least $300,000 for the first place.

Other appealing competition happening is the $2,100 buy-in NL Hold’em High Roller event, also taking place on February 2nd, with $1 million guaranteed prize pool. Additionally, there are two opening day events – $27 buy-in NL Hold’em (6-Max) and $215 buy-in NL Hold’em (Knockout), both featuring $750,000 guaranteed prize pools.

Thrilling game opportunities for leisure players

The tournament also offers one significant advantage over other online festivals, which is the speed of the action, specifically aiming at recreational players with less time to play and professional players trying to pick up on their hourly rate.

In the previous two TCOOP festivals, the average time that player took to “cash” was only 2,10 hours, relatively comparable with the quickest tournament so far, which was in a hyper-turbo and took just 1,37 hours.

It is already a tradition for the world’s largest poker site operating under British gambling laws to offer additional prizes to the top players. Thus those who are constantly successful during the tournament series, will be rewarded with extra prizes.
