Playtech Launches Online Poker Sites in France

Playtech launches ipoker sites fith former Betclic and Everest players.

Playtech finished migrating French online poker from Everest Group’s Betclic and Everest sites onto the ipoker domains. Playtech also launched the sites officially.

Everest and Betclic poker still continue sharing their player pool in France. The two companies have also made improvements to their current rake structure to benefit French online gambling fans.

Playtech chief executive officer Mor Weizerinformeed: “France remains an important market for Playtech and the combination of Betclic Everest’s leading position and our advanced technology together with significantly enlarged liquidity pools will lead to material benefits for Playtech and Betclic Everest.”

Weizer added: “Outside France, the launch of Betclic and Everest poker on ipoker further strengthens the network’s liquidity and cements its position as the natural choice for leading poker brands.”

Weizer concluded: “We anticipate that the enlarged liquidity pools on iPoker.fr and iPoker.com will attract further brands to the growing stable of well-established operators and contribute to our future success.”
