Paddy Power Launches Roller, a UK Mobile Gambling iPad and iPhone App

The new real-money gambling mobile application features 19 casino games.

Irish gambling giant Paddy Power announced the launch of their new mobile casino app in the UK.
The new application, named Roller, is aimed at the 9 million users of the British iPad and iPhone market.

Roller is designed for the iPhone and iPad featuring inventive touchscreen functionalities, tate of the art graphics and animations as well as a full integration of the player’s music library. The app, developed together with Viaden Gaming in full compliance with the British gambling laws, features 19 casino games, including roulette, blackjack and slots.

Roller managing director Nick Abrahams said: “There is an estimated nine million iPad and iPhone users in the United Kingdom, and this market is set to grow. Yet until now there has been no actual real money casino app available that makes use of the potential of these devices.”

Abrahams added: “Customers like apps – they offer a more seamless experience which is why they’ve become a part of everyday life. The apps customers told us they enjoy the most are the ones that make best use of the device’s unique capabilities to give a better experience.”

Abrahams is self-assured in saying: “That’s what Roller is all about – delivering a better, real-money mobile casino experience.”

The first real-money casino app in the UK

Roller, currently only available in the UK, is the only real-money casino app in the country designed exclusively for iPads and iPhones. The app is free to download from the UK Apple App Store.

UK online casino industry revenues in the are expected to pass the GBP 500 million mark in 2012. The number of mobile casino users is steadily growing, experts claim that this area will see a steep growth both in terms of players and revenue.
