Poker Trip Enterprises acquires approval from Nevada Gaming Commission, ACEP Interactive applies for Nevada online poker license
Here are two important pieces of United States gambling news concerning the promotion of online poker rooms from Nevada. Both can have a positive effect in the popularity of online poker, both in Nevada and in the United States.
Nevada Gaming Control Board provisionally approved two affiliate marketing websites belonging to Poker Trip Enterprises Inc. of Las Vegas.
The application will hopefully be ratified by the Nevada Gaming Commission On September 20. If the application is successful, Poker Trip Enterprises will be the first company to secure an affiliate license to promote the play of online poker in the state, and to a certain extent, to promote to play online poker in USA.
Poker Trip Enterprises, a marketing firm launched in 2011 & has experience from contracts with Nevada land poker rooms. The company with a staff of seven promotes poker through its AllVegasPoker and ThePokerAtlas websites.
Poker Trip Enterprises will be paid on a fee basis rather than a revenue-sharing business model. The company hopes that Nevada online poker operator will be able to profit its experience in driving traffic to land casinos and poker rooms.
ACEP Interactive, a subsidiary of American Casino & Entertainment Properties, a company with four land casinos in Nevada is one of the latest applicants for Nevada online poker license. The company released its plans to enter a legalized intrastate online poker market at a Nevada Gaming Control Board hearing.
ACEP Interactive’s goal is to promote poker, extend brand awareness and generate players thru a free-to-play business model. The Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended the ACEP Interactive to the Nevada Gaming Commission, an important American gambling laws decision-maker.
ACEP spent the last one-and-a-half year studying the online poker market, and drawing up scenarios to build traffic to the land casinos and poker rooms. ACEP has not yet chosen a suitable technology-software partner.
