Brand New Party Poker Live Tournaments in 2017

Party Poker has finally revealed some of the details to their highly-anticipated events. Here’s everything we know about Party Poker Live Tournaments in 2017!

Throughout the previous months, Party Poker was teasing live events on their social media. Last week, the renowned online poker site has finally revealed the most important details of the Live Global Tournament, kicking off in Canada. Players can expect several live poker tournaments all around the world with multi-million dollar guaranteed prize pools. Each of the events have a $5,000 buy-in, including the first one at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada during may.

Party Poker Million North America features a CAD $5,000,000 prize pool from which CAD $1,000,000 goes to the winner of the Live event. Phase ones of the tournament are already available online, for a CAD $550 cash bonus to the first 100 players who qualify for Day1. Online Days will begin in late April, just a week before the Party Poker Live Tournament begins.

“Online qualifiers start from $0.01 on Party Poker giving players the opportunity to travel all over the world to take part in some amazing events,” said Group Head, Tom Waters. “Kicking off the tour in Montreal, Canada gives all the North American players a first look at the amazing events,” commented Phil Sabbah, CMO of Playground Club.

Party Poker has some good news for recreational poker players as well. 2017 will see Million Nationals, for a buy-in of $1,000 with $500,000 guaranteed prize pools. These national events will be supported by the Grand Prix Poker Tour, which means low buy-ins yet high payouts. More details of the Party Poker Nationals will be released later this year.
