Brand new winning odds for LaLiga 2023
In this article, we’ll list the four favorites to win the LaLiga title. You’ll probably be expecting these names, so the focus is really on the odds and the recent activities of these clubs. Summer transfers and preseasons can more or less give a good insight into how a club’s season will go. These are our 2023 LaLiga winning odds for the top 4 clubs in Spain.
The first division of Spanish football is one of the most competitive leagues in the world. Constant debates are comparing the Premier League and LaLiga. But today we’re here to talk about the next champions of Spain. Even with Real Madrid’s recent dominance, LaLiga always holds many surprises. Champions can rise and fall within one year and our 2023 LaLiga winning odds are here to give a prediction of that, among other things. Here are the four favorites for next season’s title.
Real Madrid Have a Good Chance to Win the League Back-to-Back
The reigning champions start as the early favorites to win LaLiga next season. Real had an incredibly strong finish last season, finishing with 86 points and 13 points above second-placed Barcelona. The current odds and predictions are based on their recent performances and transfer activities. Los Blancos signed only two players this summer, Tchouameni for €80 million and Rüdiger for free.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti stated earlier this month that they’re not planning to bring in any more players. The champions released several players as well, most notably Luka Jovic, Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marcelo. It remains to be seen how impactful their absences will be in 2023.
Because of great results last season, the 2023 LaLiga winning odds favor Real in many ways. For example, on 20Bet Sportsbook, their odds of winning the league again are 2.07. It seems inevitable that the club will experience new lineups during their preseason tour and might try to use players that saw less action last season. For example, Eden Hazard will have a bigger role in 2023, or so the rumors say. Do you think Real will win the league back-to-back?
Barcelona on the Rise – 2023 LaLiga Winning Odds
The Catalans didn’t have a season this bad since 2007/08 when they finished 3rd with 67 points. Even though they ended up second this past season, they did so only with 73 points which is fairly unusual for them. Part of this was the switching of managers. Since the start of the 2021/22 season, the club had three managers. However, under Xavi, it seems that Barcelona might be on the right track. The Catalans have also been doing some impressive work regarding summer transfers. We covered some of these in our LaLiga transfer predictions.

The signings of Raphinha and Lewandowski put Barcelona’s transfer balance to -€80 million which wouldn’t be good for any club, but especially this one. Barcelona recently sold 15% of their LaLiga TV rights for around €267 million. But this is only one of the club’s problems as there are quite a few. Frenkie de Jong doesn’t want to leave Barcelona but he might be on the move before September for as much as €85 million.
Not to mention the midfielder’s also owed at least €17 million in wages. According to online sportsbooks in Spain, de Jong will join United before the transfer window ends. Barcelona’s odds to win LaLiga in 2023 are 2.35, which is respectable.
Atlético Madrid Shocked the World Many Times – Will They Do it Again?
Atlético Madrid was always considered the little brother of Real and Barcelona. While they usually don’t sign the names the other two do, or they’re not as much in the media, they emerge as LaLiga champions now and then. Atlético most recently won the league not even two years ago, in the 2020/21 season with a strong 86-point finish.
As of July, sites like 20Bet Sportsbook give them odds of 6.28 of winning the league in 2023. In recent seasons, Atlético finished multiple above Real or Barcelona multiple times. However, things could turn out harder this time around.

Two new notable arrivals are Samuel Lino and Axel Witsel for a combined fee of only €6.50 million. Numerous loan players have also returned but the club has released Suarez as well. The 35-year-old striker is among the best free agents this summer, even if he’s not among the biggest anymore. In addition, players like Emerson Royal and Nahuel Molina have also been linked to Atlético. The club’s 2023 LaLiga winning odds aren’t bad but the campaign will be a difficult one. Simeone and his company could still shock the world, however.
Sevilla’s Only LaLiga Title is Looking Lonely – 2023 Winning Odds
Sevilla are usually a frequent member of the LaLiga top four even with strong competition for that 4th position. For the past three seasons, the club has finished 4th in the league which led to consecutive Champions League appearances as well. However, despite all of this, Sevilla have only won the domestic league once, in the 1945/46 season.
Because of statistics like this, it’s easy to understand why the previously mentioned three clubs are the only possible winners. To further explain the gap between these clubs, Sevilla’s odds of winning the league next season are 18.55, compared to Atletico’s 6.28.
The South-Spanish club handles their expenditures better than the others on this list, however. Their only new signing so far has been Marcão for €12 million. With the recent departure of Diego Carlos, Sevilla’s current transfer balance is above €25 million. While online sportsbook sites in Spain don’t give much hope to the club’s 2023 LaLiga winning odds, they might finish higher than last season.
