The 2020-21 NBA season is getting to its climax with the final being already started this week. The Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns are fighting for the championship title, with the Suns taking the lead after the first game. The NBA final betting preview favors them to win the whole series and the next game as well.

The Milwaukee Bucks caused the biggest surprise of the season. As the team knocked out the top favorites, the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Conference semi-final. Then they also defeated the Atlanta Hawks to reach their first final in 47 years. Even though their biggest star, Giannis Antetokounmpo got injured in the fourth game. Now he is back and can help his team to win the title against the Suns. But it won’t be an easy task as Phoenix have been great all season. They defeated the defending champions, the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs. Just like the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers to get to the final. Where they already lead 1-0 after the first game and likely to continue in the same style in their next home game as well.

The NBA final betting preview favor the Suns to win the second game

The second game of the final is still held in Phoenix, which makes the Suns the favorites again. Online sportsbooks in the US offer the odds of -215.00 for their victory. They were the better team in the first game due to several different reasons. One of them has been the extra three days which they could spend with rest. Plus all their key players are healthy and performed well in the game. Like Chris Paul and Devin Booker who scored 32 and 27 points. The 11-time NBA All-Star Paul can also be the MVP of the final if he can carry on his form. His odds to win this award is -210.00 in the NBA final betting preview.

While the other favorite in this category is the Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. Of course, he needs to be fully healthy to have a chance of winning. And helping his team to victory would help as well. The Greek star suffered a knee injury against the Atlanta Hawks but could return in the first game of the final. He was playing well, scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds but he wasn’t outstanding. Giannis can still get better though and lead his team to success. At the moment his odds to be the 2021 NBA Final MVP is +325.00.

Can the Bucks get back to the series?

The Bucks reached the NBA final for the first time since 1974 when they lost 4-3 against the Boston Celtics. Since then their best result was getting to the Eastern Conference final in the 2018-19 season. Where they were defeated by the Toronto Raptors. So this season the Bucks have already achieved their best result in 47 years. But surely they’d like to win the title now. If their defenders including Giannis, Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday can stop the Suns forwards, they can have a chance. Online gambling sites in the US currently offer the odds of +240 for their championship victory.

First though Mike Budenholzer’s team would need to get back to the series and win the second game.  Their odds to do so is +185.00 on BetOnline. The next game will still be held in Phoenix, making the guests’ job even more difficult. The results between the two teams this season are against them too. As the Suns did win both games against Milwaukee in the regular season. While they won the previous game 118-105 with a 13-point difference. But the Bucks have already managed to come back in this playoff a couple of times and can do it again. If not tonight, then in the next two games at home in front of their fans.
