Michel Platini Aims to Replace Sepp Blatter as New FIFA President

The elections for choosing the new FIFA President are approaching and we have our latest candidate.
Online gambling sites in the EU report that the President of the UEFA aims to replace the European football association with the global federation. Michelle Platini will run on the election in hopes of becoming the new FIFA President, starting from February 2016. The Frenchman announced his intentions on Wednesday, 29 June.
The former football player has been in charge for UEFA since 2007 and says it’s time for a change in his life. Platini told to online betting sites that his goal is to bring change into the football world. Blatter will step down from his position due to the many accusations linked him with the corruption scandal.
The new FIFA president candidate says he wants to bring respect for FIFA
The UEFA President admitted that this move is a completely own idea and serves his personal well-being. Platini said he carefully thought about the topic before making his final decision. He added that it was time for him to get his destiny into his own hands and bring a decisive move towards a better future in his life as well as for FIFA.
EU gambling news report that Platini also said change is extremely important in a constantly changing sport world. However, FIFA only had 2 presidents in the past 50 years, which seems like a paradox, he said. The candidate for the new FIFA President added that his aim is to make FIFA a respected and liked organization once again, like it used to be.
