On May 18th, it was reported that UFC superstar Conor McGregor officially signed the contract to fight Floyd Mayweather inside the boxing ring. It remains to be seen whether Floyd will agree to the terms set by Dana White, but there’s no denying that this fight is now closer than ever to taking place.

A number of online sportsbooks in Ireland are now offering betting odds for this fight. Everyone knows McGregor is the massive underdog, but he’s proven time and time again that he can defy the odds. Mayweather wins a unanimous decision: 5/4

Even the most hardcore McGregor fans have to concede that he’s not nearly as skilled in pure boxing as Floyd Mayweather. Floyd has a professional record of 49-0, and has fought some of the best boxers alive including Canelo Alvarez, Andre Berto, and Manny Pacquiao. His offense his sharp, but Mayweather has made a career of avoiding his opponents strikes and countering.
