You can see different gambling ads almost everywhere now from tv channels to the boards around football pitches. Most gambling companies try to add some light tone to their advertisements, often using humor and famous characters in them. Ladbrokes Ads in Funniest Gambling Ads

All sports betting sites try to make their site even more popular with TV ads usually using humor as the baseline. Some of the funniest gambling ads were made by Ladbrokes, who were using Italian sports commentator, Tiziano Crudelli in several of their commercials. The guy became famous for his passionate football commentary during AC Milan games. He is a long-time fan of the club and also its press officer.

Crudelli first appeared in a Ladbrokes ad in 2011 celebrating a corner in his famous way, promoting the new Ladbrokes app. Then he was joined by Chris Kamara, a former English football player, and manager who was filming a shampoo ad when Crudelli suddenly appeared and stole his towel. Very funny indeed, just check it out yourself. 

Paddy Power’s controversial ads

The Irish-based bookmaker, Paddy Power is also famous for its funny but often controversial ads. Like the one where one of the football players blinded by an eye mask accidentally hit a cat with the ball. But in their other ads, we can also see Jesus healing the Italian players’ injuries. Or rich people shooting lower class visitors at the Cheltenham Festival, and standing on top of them to get a better view. 

While a billboard ad with two elderly women appearing with different odds during crossing the street was also heavily criticized by the public. It was due to a misunderstanding as people thought the odds were referring to one of them being run over. While in the original message, the odds would have been made about crossing the street first. In spite of the bad reviews, their ads are quite funny and Paddy Power is still popular with gamblers. Their site belongs to the most visited online sportsbooks sites in Ireland. 

National Lottery ads

Lottery sites also use TV ads to promote their products all around the world. Some of the funniest lottery ads were made by the UK National Lottery.

Like the “Please Not Them” campaign where famous British celebrities like Piers Morgan, James Blunt, and Katie Price talk about their ridiculous plans in case of winning the lottery. In another ad made for the Irish market, rabbits show up in a guy’s kitchen yelling legend. It’s cute and hilarious at the same time, like most things with talking animals. Meanwhile, in the “First Thing, You Would Do” commercial all winners just leave their everyday lives and run for the plane for Barbados. And she totally changed it to her style during his absence.  But luckily the boss woke up from this nightmare at the end of the ad. Dan Bilzerian, the famous American poker player also featured alongside Troyer and a gorilla in another ad and beat him in blackjack. 

32Red Casino’s latest campaign with Keith Lemon

The British online casino site, 32Red Casino has also produced some short but funny ads in the last few years. Comedian Keith Lemon plays in the company’s latest Incredible Campaign, taking us backstage of 32Red Casino. Where characters of the available games are practicing from lepricons to knights. Lemon joins all of them before entering the stage and promoting one of the site’s special promotions. The ad has several variations with great jokes and rhythm and the soundtrack of Sam and the Womp’s Bom Bom song.
