Foxwoods Resort Casino to Host the Next Card Player Poker Tour Event

The Season II of the Card Player Poker Tour is on. The next Main Event is held at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket.
Mashantucket, Connecticut will be the scene for the next installment in Season II of the Card Player Poker Tour. One of the most renowned American poker rooms at the Foxwoods Resort Casino will host the Main Event from February 8-17. The previous tournament of the series was held at West Palm Beach in Florida last December.
The poker tournament will be held in full compliance with the American gambling laws and will have a $1,650 buy-in Main Event with $300,000 guaranteed prize pool. Expect a host of poker pros and amateur challengers at the tables.
What’s up at the Foxwoods Resort Casino event
Besides the highly-anticipated Main Event with a huge prize pool, the Foxwoods Resort Casino stop of the series will also host a wide range of side events. The biggest ones are the $600 NLHE with $100,000 guaranteed pool at the start of the festival and the $300 NLHE with $20,000 guranteed at the end of the Foxwoods stop.
The winner of the Main Event will be crowned the third champion of the Season II, and will join the likes of John McNulty (winner of Palm Beach event) and Harvey Vandeven (winner of Jacksonville event). All in all the Foxwoods stop will have 11 tournaments, each with added guaranteed prize pools.
All of the events will have qualifiers and satellites, both at land-based and online poker sites in the United States.

Once the Foxwoods stop, the Season II of the Card Player Poker Tour will move on to Atlantis Resort Spa Casino in Reno, Nevada. The next American stop after that will be the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California.
The Card Player Poker Tour Season II will then take a trip overseas to the Paddy Power Poker Irish Open in Dublin. And then the series will come back to the USA, and actually visit the American poker room in Jacksonville for a second occasion this season.
Next up is the Choctaw Resort Casino in Durant, Oklahoma, and after that the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, California. One of the peculiarities of the Card Player Poker Tour is the seven-night event held during the Caribbean Cruise, aboard one of the most luxurious cruise ships – the Allure of the Seas.
