Last week was not the luckiest for Phil “Polarizing” Ivey and Paul “MalACEsia” Phua, who lost big sums at the Full Tilt Poker high stakes tables.
They both made it into the gambling news with the fascinating amount of money they had to part with.
It seems that Phua had the worst luck, as he lost a total of $603,392 last week, playing a little over 1,300 hands against various opponents.
Ivey almost reached Phua’s levels, as his damage was $589,730 last week, playing a bit above 5,917 hands, which came right after another serious loss of $113,000 in the recent weeks.
Gus Hansen was the third looser last week, who parted with $358,287, followed by Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond (lost $275,918) and Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius (lost $221,814).
Winners side
Of course there were big winners as well, like Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau, who won $390,067 and Dan “jungleman12” Cates, who took home $232,614, after serious practice at US poker rooms.
For the 5 months from the beginning of the year, the biggest winners so far are Cates with $1.35 million and Niki Jedlicka with $1.21 million, not a bad start of 2014 for them.
The biggest losers so far this year are Hansen, who is down with $2.9 million and Ivey with $2.5 million in loses.
