ElkY Might Miss The Start of WSOP Due To Stolen Passport

New rules at the World Series of Poker tournament might cause the proper start of the French poker pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier.
The reason for that is the fact that all international players at this year’s WSOP tournament, which follows all US gambling laws, should provide two types of ID in order to have the opportunity to play.
This rule turns out to be extremely inconvenient for EIkY, because his passport was stolen in Toronto, therefore he went home to get new one before the start of the tournament.
The problem
Unfortunately for him, French authorities are not famous for being very fast, therefore he will most probably be facing quite long wait before he get his new passport issued.
This may cause the player his prompt start at the WSOP, and he might not be able to show his great skill set, acquired in French and US poker rooms.
Very disappointed he tweeted the following: “such a joke first appointment i could get for an emergency work reason: June 20th At least i’m a favorite to play the Main! #whenwillitend.”
