In our selection of ongoing and scheduled tourneys you will find the best events held both under American gambling laws and internationally during this week. International poker tournaments
The European Poker Tour Season 10 is drawing to a close. The 2014 Grand Final will be held in Monaco all the way until May 02.

The registration for the Main Event has already been closed and those lucky players who have qualified through a variety of online poker sites in the US will be aiming for the crown and a part of a sizeable guaranteed prize pool.
However, besides the Main Event there will be a bunch of side poker tourneys open to all poker enthusiasts. One of the most promising ones is the EUR 25,000 buy-in NLHE High-Roller event, starting on April 30th at noon. A big turnout of poker professionals is expected for this particular tourney.
Meanwhile in the Philippines, the 2014 APT is making a stop at the Resorts World Manila Casino. The 15-event poker festival will take place from April 30 until May 07. This week’s highlights include the $2,700 buy-in Main Event staring on May 03, and the $5,000 buy-in tourney kicking off on May 01.
Midwest poker tourneys
USA Midwest will also see an array of highly attractive tournaments at a variety of American poker rooms this week. The 2014 Chicago Poker Classic takes place between April 29 and May 12 at the Horseshoe Hammond in Indiana. The small town a stone throw away from Chicago has been hosting some of the biggest poker events in recent times. This week there’s a massive $1,000,000 guaranteed event with only $350 for buy-in. There will be eight starting flights, the first of which kicks off on April 29 at noon.
The Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City will be the venue for the 2014 HPT Missouri Ameristar all the way until May 05. The eight-event poker series will culminate during the coming days with the Heartland Poker Tour Main Event featuring $1,650 buy-in. The first of its three starting flights is scheduled for May 02, 2PM local time. May 03 will see the second and the third starting flight kick off at 10AM and 3PM respectively.
Nevada poker tournaments
American gambling Mecca, Las Vegas, will not be mission out on high-class live poker action this week. Caesars Palace Las Vegas is already hosting the 2014 WSOP Warm-Up, scheduled to take place until May 04. The whole series offers wonderful opportunities for poker enthusiasts to practice and fine tune their skills ahead of the main WSOP action, which is just around the corner. This week’s attraction there is the $25,000 guaranteed NLHE event with $560 buy-in scheduled to start on May 03.
Mountain poker tourneys
If you thought that poker is only played in big cities, think again. The Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado will provide picturesque setting for the 2014 WSOP Circuit Lodge Casino festival held until May 05. This is the latest WSOP Circuit stop on the calendar while the tour prepares for the summer. This week the most attractive tourney is naturally the $1,675 WSOP-Circuit Main Event with two starting flights, first of which is scheduled for May 02.
East Coast poker tournaments
The East Coast will also be hosting an important live poker meeting this week. The 2014 Parx Big Stax VI takes place from April 30 until May 19 at Parx Casino in Bensalem. The nine-event poker festival starts with a five-day event where buy-in is just $330. There will be three starting flights, each kicking off at 11AM local time on consecutive days.
