BetVictor Sponsors 2014 Welsh Open Snooker Tournament

BetVictor, online casino and sportsbook operator, will prolong with one year its sponsorship deal of the 2014 Welsh Open professional ranking snooker tournament.
The event will keep its current popular name BetVictor Welsh Open, after the UK internet casino. The operator was also title sponsor of the 2013 edition of the annual tournament.
BetVictor reaches to its essential players.
Magnus Grinneback, BetVictor Asia’s managing director, said that the company considers the the competition as an “excellent opportunity to extend the reach of the BetVictor brand to our core markets.”
He added: “The Welsh Open is one of the sport’s iconic tournaments and we are delighted to again lend our name and support to an event that has been extended in 2014 to give snooker fans the opportunity to see legends of the sport rub shoulders with some of the new kids on the block in a brand new format.”
The 2014 BetVictor Welsh Open will take place from February 19th to March 2nd at the Newport Centre in Wales.
Currently, BetVictor generates over GBP 1 billion, with half a million players in over 160 different countries. In 1975 the current chairman Victor Chandler took over the running of the business and initiated fast expansion through different pioneering ventures.
