After a long set of meetings, the managers of BetVictor have decided to shut down their in-house live casino with immediate effect.
Online gambling sites in Gibraltar reported that heads of BetVictor have decided to cease operations with their in-house live casino immediately. The online betting provider group’s live casino was opened in October 2013 and now they will close it down due to the poor income that the business has generated.
A BetVictor spokesperson commented the situation, “This decision has not been taken lightly, but we need to ensure the long term sustainability of our business and our structure needs to follow this strategy. Unfortunately the cost of operating our own live casino did not generate sufficient value to justify continuation.”
Spokesman says the company will focus on cooperating with third party providers
Spokesperson also added that the company’s goal for the future is to enter profitable partnership with other firms. “The business had undergone a full review process; operating our own live-casino did not deliver sufficient value in innovation or differentiation to justify its cost when compared to third party providers”
The aim of the online gambling group is that none of their previous workers remain unemployed, they are trying to find suitable solution for all of them. BetVictor has just launched their new ad campaign to promote non-football related internet betting in UK.
