Betting Rights of Euroleague Basketball Will Be Sold by IMG

The representatives of Euroleague Basketball signed a four-year deal with IMG about hosting the betting rights of the organization.
Euroleague Basketball agreed with IMG about a four-year partnership deal that includes rights regarding internet betting in the EU as well as live streaming, fastpath data and sponsorship rights. All of these will be sold separately in the future according to the deal, in order to generate further revenues for the organization and the participating clubs.
IMG and Euroleague Basketball built this agreement on a previous relationship between them, as IMG acted a consulting partner in order to promote the competition in several countries. Ioris Francini, president of IMG Media spoke about his expectations regarding the future of the partnership. He said, “We believe our expertise in both data and streaming will help increase the revenue, marketability and awareness of the Euroleague and Eurocup.”
