Despite adding a number of quality singings to stay in the premier League beyond upcoming season, question remain about their real chances.
After earning promotion from the second division the season before, Hull City managed to stay in the Premier League for an additional year. They finished the season 16th on the chart, and also reached the final of the FA Cup where they lost against Arsenal.
Steve Bruce has guided the Tigers since 2012 where has achieved solid performance with the team. His current winning percentage stands at around 42%, which is alright considering that the team doesn’t have immense financial power at its disposal.
Hull completes promising transfers to stay in the league but will it be enough?
In order to help them remain in the Premier League beyond the current season, they have been active in the transfer window by recruiting some talented players. Their most expensive purchase comes in the form of Jake Livermore (midfielder), who was on loan from Tottenham last season. He cost around GBP 8 million but is a promising talent.
The Tigers also signed Robert Snodgrass, Johan Ter Horst, Harry Maguire, Andrew Robertson and Tom Ince to keep them in the elite competition in the future. Despite adding quality signings to their team, mobile betting firm Bet365 has assigned them odds of 1.22 (2/9) of finishing in the bottom half of the table.
