Twitter users who like to bet on sports in the UK now have an all new service they can use to help them win their wagers, as Betegy now provides results and predictions for football matches and other sports via the popular social media service.

British gamblers looking to earn some money through mobile betting will find the service very practical and easy to use. All they have to do in order to find out the results of an upcoming contest is to tweet the names of the two teams playing to @askbetegy. The company will provide an instant forecast and probability assessment for free and premium subscribers.

In 2013, the Champions League final attracted a lot of attention on Twitter. Users sent 117,000 messages every minute, mentioning the game.

Professional sports predictions

Every week, Betegy provides information on more than 100 international, European and domestic sports events. The company uses a proprietary, self-learning algorithm to determine the outcome of each competition.

The program is automated and presents the outcome in the form of percentage, considering a range of variables including team dynamics, injuries, news and suspensions. Betegy also provides predictions and estimates to media companies, including global sports networks ESPN. The service is available in English, Polish and Russian.
