Stoke get a visit from Man City this weekend in the English Premier League and if you like to bet on football it’s perhaps a draw between these two that will tempt you, but is that really one of the safe bets this weekend?

If you like to bet on football Saturday has all the action you’re looking for. Sat at the top of the Premier League table by dint of their massive goal difference, Manchester City are off to Stoke this Saturday looking to continue their winning ways as they try to put the memory of the latter part of November out of their mind.

Oh sure they’ve bounced back a bit from their mullering by Liverpool and disappointment in Juventus, in their two latest games they battered Southampton 3-1 and then Hull 4-1 but Stoke, owned by the Coates family of Bet365 fame, the company that has made so much from liberal UK gambling laws, are a different kettle of fish.

Stoke have only one loss in their last five Premier League fixtures (against Sunderland of all people) and as their performance against Sheffield Wednesday proved they’re not to be dismissed if you like to bet on football, but can they really take revenge for the last time they came up against the Premier League standings leader?

That game ended 4-1 to Man City so expect Stoke to want to put that record right on Saturday, and who knows, they might just do it, after all Premier League predictions didn’t include Aston Villa holding City to nil-nil draw a few weeks ago, but that happened, so Stoke have far more chance than you might think, and indeed perhaps a little more than the bookies give them.

Of course if you like to bet on Football Bet365 have all the best odds for Premier League match betting with Man City favorites to win at 4/6 on and Stoke are quite a distant 19/4 but a draw at 3/1 is looking like one of the best Premier League tips this week, and for those of you familiar with Premier League players may well be interested in the same 3/1 odds being available on Sergio Aguero to score first. Tasty.

Can Man City stay top or will Stoke choke their chances? We’ll find out on Saturday. Just for reference purposes here’s all the action from the last time these two met.
