There’s nothing like a football match between two sides that share a controversial history. This week in Champions League’s round 16 Chelsea will square up against former foes Barcelona in what is likely to be a salivating encounter at Stamford Bridge. But don’t miss out on the other matches that can see you win lots online sportsbooks in EU.
Bayern v Besiktas – H 1.16 (1/6) D 7.00 (6/1) A 15.00 (14/1)
If you happen to be Turkish you might have a hard time deciding what team to support for this match, unless you support the other sides in Istanbul or the other sides across Germany. But let’s be honest. Bayern will probably sweep through Besiktas when they host them at Allianz Arena on Tuesday evening, with the net being struck a number of times against the Turkish side. We see no scenario where Besiktas are able to make a difference against such a superior side, so the most that they can hope for is scoring a goal in what will likely be a defeat.

Chelsea v Barcelona – H 3.50 (5/2) D 3.39 (12/5) A 2.04 (1/1)
This is the mouth-watering clash of the round and perhaps one of the biggest games of the Champions League so far this season. Chelsea and Barcelona have played each other multiple times, with almost every match ending in controversy – the most famous one being in the semi finals of the 2008/09 campaign, when the Chelsea were thought to have been robbed by the referee.

Looking at the Premier League table, the Blues have slipped down to fourth position lately, having suffered 2 losses and 1 draw in the last 5 games, while Barcelona are viewed as the virtual champions of Spain this season. Nonetheless, Stamford Bridge is a tough ground to play at for the opposition, especially if you’re a former side that’s hated by the Chelsea support. So we’re going to place our bets on a draw between the two, as it seems like the best option.
Sevilla v Manchester United – H 2.79 (9/5) D 3.25 (9/4) A 2.50 (3/2)
Man United have lost 2 of their last 5 games in the Premier League, with the other 3 ending in victories. Sevilla have also won 3 games during the same period, although they’ve only lost and drawn once apiece in La Liga.
But the point is that Jose Mourinho has a massively talented squad at his disposal, and we believe this will highly influence the game, so we’re going to back the Red Devils to clinch a win, although perhaps a narrow one if some key players underperform.
Shakhtar v AS Roma – H 2.50 (3/2) D 3.25 (9/4) A 2.79 (9/5)
And the final showdown on our list involves Ukrainian side Shakhtar and the Italians AS Roma – this match is the probably one of the more difficult ones to predict considering the way they’ve each been playing their respective championships. Providers of internet betting in EU are favouring the hosts to win the first leg, but we’re not so sure about that. We see a stalemate are a more likely result at the end of the game, with a potential slim win for Shakhtar.
