Bally Technologies will Provide SLS Hotel & Casino with Casino Game Services as the New Resort Enters the Las Vegas Strip
While Nevada may be gearing up for the launch of online casinos in the US state at some point in the near future, punters still need to keep their eyes peeled for new land-based casinos, as Bally Technologies has paired with the strips latest resort, SLS Hotel & Casino.
The new casino will open in 2014, and is due to hold 1,600 hotel rooms, 800 gaming machines, and 80 table games.
Bally will support the casino with development of their new iVIEW Display Manager with Elite Bonusing Suit, allowing SLS to host bonus events such as the Display Manager tournaments, U-Spin Bonusing, Flex Rewards, and Virtual Racing.
While mobile casinos continue to take off in Europe, and will soon be coming to New Jersey, Nevada is stuck with traditional slot machines, so Bally’s brand new slot monitoring solutions will be deployed at the new resort casino. Thanks to Las Vegas Sands owner, Sheldon Adelson, Las Vegas may never have mobile casinos, so companies like Bally’s remain essential.
Indeed, with American gambling laws unlikely to change again – most of the power has been handed to the individual states – more power than ever is actually in the hands of the land-based operators. In New Jersey and Delaware, any online casino must have a presence in a land-based operation, too.
SLS Casino & Hotel COO, Rob Oseland, said: “The Bally product portfolio allows SLS Hotel & Casino to offer a broad loyalty programme across our entire business operation. We want to provide our guests a one-of-a-kind experience to reward their loyalty at hotels, nightclubs, and restaurants across the country, while having seamless integration with the new Las Vegas casino.”
This latest news comes after SLS already announced a deal with bookmaker William Hill to offer the firm’s services on the casino floor. On top of HD screens and a fully integrated wagering experience, William Hill’s mobile betting platform will also be made available.
