Reno is where Caesars started. No wonder then, it is currently the third gambler’s paradise in the United States. Let’s check it out.
“The Biggest Little City” in Nevada is well known among gamblers all over the United States. Although it is near Las Vegas, many prefer to come here over the large city, because this place has charm.
• Small, but vibrant
• Luxury casinos everywhere
• Vast array of entertainment
Lots of it. Over the past few years, Reno has become an increasingly favored spot for everyone who is into placing bets and playing for fun and it is no surprise; this vibrant little city caters to all (fun) needs. So, let’s not beat around the bush any longer.
Where to stay?
Poker winners and mobile betting enthusiasts, here are the best of the best you can stay at in Reno. Places like the Atlantis Casino Resort and Peppermill Resort are hotels than you don’t even have to leave during your visit to Reno; they have everything a high roller needs. Awesome amenities lavish suites and casinos that will make you want to stick around for much longer than you’ve initially planned. The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino and Circus Circus will both have you gaping in surprise over the vast luxury and modern design. Order breakfast to your suite and marvel in the astounding view before you join your friends in the casino.
Where to eat?
Like many gambling locations, Reno, too provides you with a vast arena of high-end restaurants. Be it in a casino, like Harrah’s Steak House and Sterlings Seafood & Steakhouse, or simply in downtown Reno, these restaurants will provide you with pure gastronomic pleasure. Circus Circus’ buffet is something that words can’t even describe. Try the Frenchy Roxy’s or the organic and innovative 4th Street Bistro. Fancy a dinner down by the river? Reserve a table at the Wild River Grille and taste their Wild Mushroom Truffle Ravioli or their Braised Short Ribs. Don’t hold back, your weight is of no importance here. You’ll work it off wandering around the city.
Where to gamble?
As usual, some of the best casinos are located in casinos. The one at the Peppermill Resort will provide you with endless opportunities of slot games – you won’t even know where to start! Some of the best US poker rooms are located in Harrah’s Casino Hotel. If you want to try out a novelty in the Reno skyline, go to Silver Legacy Hotel, it has recently been opened and is already incredibly popular among visitors and locals. Fancy a game of bingo and an energetic atmosphere? Go to Sands Regency Hotel and Casino, because they are the only ones who have it.
Fun and games
Go wild in the Reno Amusement Park or visit the Reno Aces Ballpark. If you enjoy something a bit more active, you can go hiking, too: the Truckee River Walk and the Virginia Lake Park will give you peace as you walk among the beautiful plants and lakes. Want something genuinely thrilling? Of course you do. Try out the Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive to feel like a cowboy of some sorts or take a few days to ski in winter. Love airplanes? Visit the Reno Air Racing Association; plane fans all over say that it is the ultimate place for aviation lovers.
I reckon that if you’re in Reno, mobile casino gambling can wait. There is too much to do and the city is far too lively for you to be cooped up in your hotel suite. Do something active in the hotel gym or outdoors, or lean back after you’ve finished an exquisite meal in some of the best restaurants Reno has to offer. Check out mystical and magical night clubs, like the EDGE at Peppermill or the Mens Club of Reno. If you’re wishing for something a bit more adult, don’t forget to swing by the Key Club or Fantasy Girls. You won’t be disappointed (wink-wink…)
