What happened during the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend?

What an incredible race in Austria we saw last week. Until the last ten laps, it felt it would be yet another Verstappen-Norris combo on the podium, but it was not to be. This year, George has improved a lot and has beaten his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, in almost every race. Another podium for Oscar Piastri, who took second and managed a lot of damage inflicted by Norris’s challenge on Verstappen. Carlos Sainz is back on the podium as well after a series of unfruitful races that made him lose a lot of points.

So, what about the 2024 British GP odds? Silverstone is similar to Austria in that it is constructed of very long straights and fast- or mid-speed corners, so it’s safe to assume Red Bull and McLaren will be the fastest cars on this track. 

Ferrari and Mercedes follow behind,, and unless something dramatic happens, such as the Max-Lando crash, there is little chance for them to win. Haas might be on a roll again since they performed very well in 2022 and 2023 as well.
