2022 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix Betting Odds

This year’s Formula 1 championship gave us another pair of leading rivals to root for. Whereas the last season was intense due to the Hamilton vs. Verstappen competition, it’s Max and Charles Leclerc who are coming toe-to-toe in 2022.

Leclerc started the 2022 F1 season with a confident victory in Bahrain. He sustained this achievement with another finish on top in Australia. Combined with two other podiums, these victories allowed the Monegasque driver to stand in the lead with 104 points. Thanks to the successful start and consistency, his betting odds to win the next GP in Spain are 2.20.

Although the Ferrari driver still leads the standings after five races, his rival Max Verstappen leads the odds with a 2.10 coefficient at the bookies. The Red Bull driver’s start of the season was quite messy. However, the reigning F1 champion managed to take the right path and win three of five races so far. Verstappen finished first in Saudi Arabia, Italy, and the US. Thanks to this, his points improved to 85 as well as betting odds at Bet365.

The third-best chance to win the Spanish GP belongs to Carlos Sainz Jr. The Spanish driver will be competing in his home country this May and this had a positive impact on his odds. Sainz Jr. really needs to get back on track as his performance at this year’s Formula championship is good but not consistent.
