The next race of the 2021 MotoGP season is held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas this weekend. Where the six-time MotoGP champion, Marc Marquez has been the king with six victories. The 2021 MotoGP US race predictions favor him again to get the win ahead of the current world championship leader Fabio Quartararo.

The new American circuit joined the MotoGP schedule in 2013 and has been part of it ever since. Except for last year, when the event was canceled. Now the race is back with new favorites. Like the championship leader Fabio Quartararo. Or the winner of the previous two races, Francesco Bagnaia. Still, everyone is expecting another great performance from six-time race winner Marc Marquez. Who won all but one event in Austin. But the Spanish champion hasn’t been the same since his return from his injury and might struggle even here. Just like the winner of the last Americas Grand Prix, Alex Rins.  While another Spanish rider, Maverick Vinales will miss the race due to the tragic death of his cousin. The 15-year-old Dean Berta Vinales was killed in a crash last weekend in Jerez.

Marquez Leads the Odds in The 2021 MotoGP US Race Predictions

Marc Marquez is only 9th place in this year’s championship after winning just one race this season. Now he might get his second one in Austin where he has been unbelievably successful in the previous years. He won six out of the past seven races making him a top favorite again on online sportsbooks in Spain. But to get another win here won’t be an easy task after his slightly disappointing season. Marquez did get some better results in the last two races though after finishing second and fourth. Now he has the odds of 2.25 to finish on top.

Another rider in great recent form is Francesco Bagnaia. He got his first MotoGP win in the Aragon Grand Prix three weeks ago. Where he actually managed to keep behind the 8-time champion Marquez.  On top of it, Bagnaia also won the next race in San Marino moving to second place in the overall standings. The Italian is still 48 points behind the leader Fabio Quartararo but can get closer to him with another victory. Of course, the French are aware of that and will aim for a good result. He has won five races so far and is on his way to win his first MotoGP title at the age of only 22. The 2021 MotoGP US race predictions mention both riders with the odds of 4.50 to win the race.

The Chances of Rins to Defend His Title

As we mentioned, Alex Rins won the last race here in 2019 after Marquez crashed out from the leading position that year. The Suzuki rider has had a poor season so far and stands only in 13th place. Besides a second-place finish in Silverstone, he couldn’t finish in the top three and had to retire on four occasions. Now Rins can try to improve on his statistics in the American Grand Prix where he also got the win in the smaller (Moto2 and Moto3) categories. Online gambling sites in Spain offer the odds of 15.00 for his victory now.

Just like for his teammate, Joan Mir, who is in third place in the championship at the moment. The defending MotoGP champion has a balanced season with five podium finishes and only one retirement. But he is without a win with crucial points missing from his overall result. Ducati rider Jack Miller has a better chance of winning according to the bookmakers. The Australian also won here before in the Moto3 class back in 2014. Since then his best result has been a third-place finish in the last race. Now his odds to win in the top class are 8.00 on 22Bet.
