  • 100 Thieves should not be taken lightly

League of Legends LCS is returning to action on 04 June. It will be lasting for a couple of months, with the 10 best teams in North America competing. The expectations from most oddsmakers are for Cloud 9 and Team Liquid to rule LCS throughout the summer. Thus the 2021 LCS summer odds favor the two to have the best chance of winning.

Another season of LoL action is upon us kicking on 04 June with each team to play 27 games or three games over nine weeks. It will likely be an exciting tournament full of thrilling performances to end on 29 August. According to online sportsbook news in the United States, 10 teams are competing. They will be fighting for a share of $200,000 and seats at the Worlds.

The summer split is picking up exactly where the Spring split left off. In other words, three top finishers of the Spring Split including Cloud 9, Team Liquid, and TSM will likely be the teams to beat. However, anything is possible in LoL, especially in North America. So, here are the analysis and 2021 LCS summer odds of the favorites and underdogs.

C9 are rightfully the best NA team of 2021 for now

Cloud 9 are entering the LCS summer as the top favorites valued +110 by Bet365 Sportsbook. It is easy to see why as they have one of the stronger squads in the region. During the first half of the year, they performed impressively at the Lock-In tournament, Mid Season Showdown, and finally MSI. At LCS Spring Split, Cloud 9 claimed the title.

For the summer tournament Cloud 9 already have a one-game lead, as the spring season scores carry into summer. Besides, Cloud 9 made some interesting moves such as replacing Zven with academy youngster K1ng. Therefore, it is difficult to see them not coming out as the summer winners.

Top challengers TL and TSM

TSM started their Spring Split campaign slowly. However, soon later they found their style and started winning games against TL, C9, and many others. Sadly after losing 2-0 to TL, TSM were pushed to the lower bracket and then knocked out. Overall they did well and they finished third in the tournament.

Most likely TSM will be vying for one of the top three spots. So, you may choose them to seize the opportunity and win with a +500 value at 2021 LCS summer odds. However, TL are similarly strong as they finished second in spring and they will look to take back the throne with +162 odds.

2021 LCS summer odds on closest underdogs

If you wish to choose from online sportsbooks in the United States a team that can make a big upset, then consider the following ones. First, there are 100 Thieves who have made one of the biggest changes in the entire LCS. They signed Schalke 04’s Abbeddage who was one of the strongest mid-laners in Europe. This will give 100 Thieves a chance to try to achieve big results, with +1000 to win it all.

Second, there is Dignitas who had a very strong showing during the Spring Split. At some moments they showed they are among the top three teams of that competition. They should not be taken lightly and value +2200 to win the title. Finally, Evil Geniuses are expected to show an aggressive run with +1600 to shock the continent.
