Aruban gambling legislation, there are several legal acts that comprise the core of the laws regulating gambling in this constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. They include
“State Ordinance for Games of Chance” (Landsverordening Hazardspelen) from 1999, the “Ordinance on Licenses” (Vergunningsverordening) from 2002, and the “National Ordinance on State Lotteries”. According to these acts all forms of land-based gambling are legal in Aruba. Online gambling is also considered to be legal.
The regulatory body of the land-based gambling activities in the country is the Dipartamento di Asuntonan di Casino (DAC), which functions within the Ministry of Justice on Aruba. The legal functioning of the online gambling sector is also supervised by this body. Besides its function as a supervisor, the Dipartamento di Asuntonan di Casino, is the official body which grants licenses to all Aruban land-based and online casinos, sportsbooks, or other types of gambling providers
