This week must be one of the worst in online poker pro Dan “Jungleman” Cates’ life, as he lost the incredible amount of $1,001,078 after playing 3,845 hands on the online high stakes tables.
Jungleman had no idea what will happen to him, especially after he made it into the gambling news last week when he won big at the Full Tilt Poker high stakes online tables.
Unfortunately, almost overnight, one the best heads-up No Limit Texas Hold’Em players in the world, who has won millions in various US poker rooms, went from the million dollar biggest winner to the nearly biggest loser.
Other examples of big losses
Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond had even worse time as he was the week’s biggest loser at $1,011,872 in 9,838 hands. This was a very bad return in the world online poker, after he was not playing since the beginning of 2014.
Other examples of big losers include Samrostan, who lost $426,306, FakeSky, who lost nearly $300,000 and Gus Hansen, who lost $148,181.
However, there are still winning players like Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, who is having very prosperous time, winning $1,231,879 last week on the Full Tilt Poker site.
