Free Facebook slots yield real life Vegas rewards

As reported by American gambling news sources, PlayStudios, the US-based social games developer has added a new, MGM-branded slots title called Mirage to its myVegas Facebook app.

The latest slot joins 10 other Vegas-themed American internet casino games that players can enjoy for free, yet earn real-life casino rewards, such as drinks, tickets and room discounts at MGM venues.

Other features of the myVegas world include online blackjack and mystery side games.

Mirage is based on the real life Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat located at MGM’s The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

According to MGM Resorts International’s SVP for Business Development Tom Mikulich, “Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage Hotel and Casino is dedicated to awareness and conservation of rare species. By bringing this destination to life in myVegas, we’re able to further engage millions of players online with our property in a way that’s both entertaining and rewarding.”

The Mirage slot contains a ‘adorable animals and their trainers set in a tropical oasis’, whereby players are engaged through various bonus features, entertaining animation and high quality sound effects.

While American gambling laws have started changing to allow real-money gambling in some states, PlayStudios do not intend to depart from their current social gaming business model.

“Our audience has grown to over three million active players in recent months due to our focus on high-quality gaming and bringing authentic branded experiences into myVegas,” claimed PlayStudios CEO Andrew Pascal.

He went on to add that “Mirage is the latest game to exemplify our team’s dedication to developing engaging experiences with leading luxury brands like The Mirage Hotel and Casino.”
