Foxy Bingo and RFL team up to involve more fans and profits.

As the new RFL Super League season kicks off tonight at 20:00, rugby fans will see a new logo among those on display at the Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

The logo is that of Bwin.party subsidiary Foxy Bingo, a venue for internet bingo in UK, which has signed a deal with the Rugby Football League to become their official bingo partner for the next three Super League seasons.

Bwin has been offering bingo games in accordance with UK gambling laws for several years. Its acquisition of Cashcade in 2009 resulted in bwin.party gaining the top spot in the bingo market through its portfolio of brands like Foxy Bingo, PartyBingo and CheekyBingo.

Starting with tonight’s match between defending champions Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC, the Foxy Bingo branding will appear on the perimeter and in rugby program advertising. It is also featured on the Super League website and will be included in TV broadcasts.

Super League Commercial Director James Mercer was on hand to discuss these developments and their expected impact.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Foxy Bingo on board as an official partner of Super League for the next three years. We look forward to working closely with Foxy Bingo and to developing a partnership which will enhance our successful brands,” said Mercer to UK gambling news.

He added, “Super League’s popularity continues to grow and with Foxy Bingo on board I am sure we will build on our achievements of 2012, when attendances reached an all-time high and more TV viewers than ever before tuned in to see the extraordinary action.”

Bwin.party Group Director of Bingo, Golan Shaked, was equally upbeat. “We are really excited about our new partnership with Super League. Foxy Bingo is the top UK bingo site spreading the fun and thrill of winning across the nation. These attributes fit perfectly with Rugby League,” declared Shaked.

As he put it, “the partnership will be a cornerstone of our campaign to directly engage the Foxy brand with the players who make it such a thriving online bingo community. Eyes down for a thrilling Super League in 2013!”

Meanwhile Foxy Bingo has announced plans to engage in a variety of community activities, including the RFL Mum of the Year program.
