Continent 8 Conquers Three Continents

The eGaming co-location and managed hosting services provider opens data centers in Europe, Asia and North America.
Continent 8 Technologies, a big-scale eGaming co-location and managed hosting services provider continues to expand its global data center operation, according to Irish gambling news coverages.
After acquiring the Vault 247 in Gibraltar, the company opened a new data centre in Dublin, where the Irish gambling laws allow the storage and process of foreign gambling data.
Continent 8 also opened a point-of-presence in Milan. The three enterprises are aimed to provide Irish internet casino and other type of online gambling operators, as well as the company’s numerous European partners with more flexibility and reliability.
Continent 8 also keeps the Asian market in focus, having also doubled its network capacity recently in the continent.
On top of the Asian and European expansion, several new sites in North America are currently being evaluated to go live within the year, a company spokesperson revealed.
The company has appointed Eddie Kilbane as the new Facilities Director responsible for all Continent 8 data centre locations globally. Mr. Kilbane has over 30 years experience, with the last 19 concentrating specifically in telecommunication networks and data centre construction. His experience involves data centre developments all around the Globe, including the UK, Ireland, the USA, Bulgaria and Malta.
Continent 8 hired David Stickland as their newest Account Director in the sales department. Mr. Stickland’s role will be to develop business opportunities within eBusiness sectors outside of eGaming. The specialist has over 25 years of senior management experience within the IT and telecommunications industry.
