iGame Malta Switches from IGT To Microgaming Poker Network

Malta and Denmark licensed online poker operator iGame Malta Limited has announced its plans to join the Microgaming Poker Network later this year.

The decision came after International Game Technology (IGT) decided to leave Europe and close its Entraction Poker Network, British gambling news report.

iGame Malta operates several online poker domains including 24hPoker, Pokerihuone, Casinohuone, NoiQ and iGame. The company’s player database is self-estimated to be about one million.

Microgaming is UK-based game developer, with most of its titles coming out under British gambling laws.

A recent iGame Malta statement “We will be moving from our existing network, IGT, to the Microgaming Poker Network towards the end of this year.”

iGame players will be able to enjoy over 350 games from Microgaming’s QuickFire Flash-based online casino and games suite. The games include popular British internet casino titles such as Thunderstruck II, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Hellboy and Mega Moolah.

Tommi Maijala, Managing Director for parent firm iGame Holding Limited commented: “We are thrilled to be joining the Microgaming Poker Network and securing for our players access to the highest quality poker software, good liquidity and a secure long-term future.”
