Bally Technologies waiting for Gibraltar license, hoping to expand in Europe. NASCAR licenses its name to Bally Technologies.

We’re sure that you are as eager as we are to hear Bally Technologies’ Q3 reports to finally hit American gambling news.

Bally Technologies has a Nevada online poker provider license and its operation is in full accordance with the American gambling laws. The company is the supplier of the back end technology for the free-to-play website GoldenNuggetPoker.

Bally Technologies is not to be confused with Bally Manufacturing, later renamed Bally Entertainment, which was Chicago-based American company that manufactured and marketed pinball and slot machines. The company was bought by Hilton Hotels in 1995.

Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), located on the Channel Islands, recently also awarded Bally Technologies an associate certificate. Apart from that, Bally is also a nominee for a Gibraltar license, the decision is due soon.

The company acquired Chiligaming’s B2B iGaming platform in February and is clearly making a move towards the European market. Business sources expect Technologies to form deals with several European operators in the near future.

Recently, Bally licensed a deal with NASCAR to use its name for games. NASCAR is the first major, international brand Bally Technologies ever used in its games. The new NASCAR progressive slot machine will make debut at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), between 2nd and 4th October in Las Vegas.

Bally will also debut with its Elite Bonusing Suite’s Virtual Racing NASCAR at the G2E. There are no new if the NASCAR progressive slot will have a version playable at online casinos in United States.

“The millions of NASCAR fans who attend and tune in to watch races attest to the unprecedented popularity of this sport,” said Dan Savage, Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Bally Technologies. “The racing theme is a great fit for our industry, and we’ve confirmed the appeal of the brand in our player testing.”
