Enjoy Valentine’s Day with great football encounters in the top flight of the German Bundesliga that will see many punters pocket big rewards.
We’ve already taken a look at some of the games that will come our way this weekend in the Bundesliga and now we have prepared additional matches that we believe will of interest to sporting fans. German gambling news reports that Schalke will face Frankfurt away so there should be a lot of great action expected for this game.
• Schalke are underdogs against Frankfurt
• Stuttgart will face Hoffenheim away
• Hannover will go head to head against Paderborn
The other games also include the clash between Hertha and Freiburg in what seems to be an ambiguous match as both sides have not performed as they have initially expected. Stuttgart will go head to head with Hoffenheim away where they will aim to seal at least a draw, while Hannover will host Paderborn on Sunday where they will aim to win against their opponents.
Frankfurt vs Schalke and Hertha vs Freiburg
Frankfurts sit in 9th place with a total of 25 points from 20 games so far. Over the course of the last 5 games they have not managed to record a single win, as 4 of their games ended in draws and 1 loss. Nevertheless, Bet365 believes that they can pull off a win 2.25 (5/4) against Schalke, who are in 3rd position and have accumulated an overall of 34 points.
The visiting side have recorded 3 wins, 1 draw and 5 losses while playing on the road, stats that are not very commendable considering their quality and group of players. Bet365 has decided to give them underdog chances 3.10 (21/10). A draw between the two does not seem to be on the cards 3.60 (13/5), looking at their recent performances in the league.
Freiburg will play against Hertha Berlin away in what is looking to be a very ambiguous match. Both sides have put on some lackluster performances both home and away which is why they find themselves sitting in low positions. Freiburg are almost at the bottom of the league in 17th spot with only 18 points, while Hertha occupy the 14th position with 21 points.
Online sportsbooks in Germany remain undecided on who to give the preferential chances to. Bet365on the other hand has earmarked the club from the capital to seal a win 2.15 (8/7), while visiting side have been dealt worse chances 3.50 (5/2). A draw may also happen between them and it has been set at 3.40 (12/5), although the hosts should be able to win this game.
Hoffenheim vs Stuttgart and Hannover vs Paderborn
Hoffenheim currently sit in 7th place with 26 points and maintain a home record of 5 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses. Their results over the last 5 games is quite bad as they have notched only 1 win, while the rest of the games ended in 4 losses. Despite recording bad results, Bet365 has decided to give them favorite chances 1.95 (10/11).
Stuttgart won the league in 2007, however they are a very different team than they used to be back then, as they currently sit in last place. For their upcoming clash with Hoffenheim, Bet365 has set their odds at 3.75 (11.4), while a draw sits at 3.75 (11.4) as well, due to their away record of 3 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses.
On Sunday we will have a chance to witness the last encounter of round 21, which will see the likes of Hannover and Paderborn go head to head. Hannover occupy 10th spot in the league and have a home record of 5 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses, while the visiting opponents sit in 15th position and have won 1, drawn 4 and lost 5 while playing on the road.
Mobile betting sites in Germany have all identified Hannover as the favorite 1.83 (5/6) for the game due to their better results at home and in recent times, which has seen them record 2 losses, 2 draws and 1 win over the last 5 games. Paderborn on the other hand have managed to record only negative results in recent matches (3 losses and 2 draws). That is why the visiting side have been assigned unfavorable chances 4.20 (16/5) for this upcoming game.
