Buffalo shockingly lost in an upset against the Jets, while the Vikings extended their record to 7-1. Funnily enough, both games ended 20-17. But even with last week’s loss, the Bills are still ranked no. 1 offensively. Well, at least in net yards per game. The Vikings are 15th in the same category. If we go down the stats route, the Bills are better in everything. But what tips the balance in most betting previews for the Vikings vs Bills game is the huge difference in defense. Will Minnesota’s leaky defense withstand the best offense in the league?
The Bills started as a 7.5 favorite but that number has gone down to 6 due to Allen’s elbow injury. However, multiple sources reported that the quarterback will most likely be available on Sunday. If Allen’s on the field, we expect Buffalo to cover the spread. Minnesota’s Cousins struggled a bit against Washington despite the win. We believe the Bills’ defense will have some good highlights. The total is set at 45.5 points because both teams are leaning towards offense a bit more. We have a feeling the Bills will score more than 25 points so take the over bet.
