One of the most famous horse races in the world, the 2022 Royal Ascot Open is held next week, between the 14th and 18th of June at the Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire. The St James Palace Stakes is held on the first day, on Tuesday as a group 1 race. It is a one mile competition for three year-old colts. Coroebus is the top favorite after winning the 2000 Guineas. The 2022 Royal Ascot Open betting tips mention Bay Bridge as the main favorite on Wednesday’s big event, the Prince of Wales’s Stakes. Sir Michael Stoute’s horse got a stunning win at the Brigadier Gerard Stakes. It was his fifth consecutive win, making Bay Bridge the odds leader with 2.20. Favorites for the Gold Cup 

The main event of Royal Ascot is the Gold Cup, held on the third day, on Thursday. Alan King’s Trueshan has only had one run this season. But he won it, the Listed Further Flight Stakes at Nottingham in April. Aidan O’Brien’s Kyprios can be a huge challenger though after a powerful performance at Saval Beg Stakes at Leopardstown.

Big events on final days

On Friday, Coronation Stakes is taking place. A race for three-year old fillies with the best female milers in Britain taking part in it. Inspiral won the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket last October and she was a favorite of the 1000 Guineas. But she skipped the event in favor to go straight to the Royal Ascot. Her odds to win the race are 4.00. 

But another horse, Homeless Songs is ahead of her with the odds of 2.25. Moyglare homebred won the Irish 1000 Guineas and became the top favorite. The 1000 guineas winner Cachet can also race for the win on Friday, and has the odds of 6.50 to get it. 

Last but not least, fans can follow the Platinum Jubilee Stakes on Saturday. One of the richest sprint races in Britain. It is popular all around the world, especially after Australian Black Caviar’s win in 2012. The race is open to four-years or older who run a distance of 6 furlongs. Home Affairs and Nature Strip are the main favorites with the odds of 5.50 and 7.00.

Both of them represent Australia and trainer Chris Waller. They have 10 group 1 wins between them. American Campanelle can be their biggest opponent who has already won at Ascot twice before. Her odds to win her third trophy next weekend are 8.00 on bet365.
