  • NASCAR Ally 400 is held this Sunday at Nashville Superspeedway
  • The concrete oval track will host the NASCAR Cup Series for the first time
  • Winner of the last two races, Kyle Larson is the top favorite ahead of Elliott and Truex Jr.

Kyle Larson won the last two races and is favored to continue his winning streak in the NASCAR Ally 400 predictions. The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series continues this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway in Tennessee. The track makes its debut in the series where the current championship leader will also aim for the victory.

The first NASCAR event was held at the Nashville Superspeedway track, near the town of Lebanon in 2001. It was a NASCAR Busch Series race which was followed by other Truck Series and IndyCar events. The Cup Series will make its debut this year after the track has replaced one of the Dover International Speedway events in the calendar. NASCAR returns to the area after 1984 when the Fairgrounds Speedway hosted it. The new concrete oval track is 1.33 miles long. Drivers who have previous experience at the track can have a huge advantage this weekend. Like Kyle Busch who has won here in the Xfinity and Truck Series, but Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick also got victories in Nashville.

Kyle Larson is the top favorite in the NASCAR Ally 400 predictions

Online sportsbooks in the US still favor another driver, Kyle Larson, to win on Sunday with the odds of +260. He finished in the top 2 in the last five races, including victories at Charlotte and Sonoma. Larson is currently in second place in the championship behind Hamlin. But he can soon take over the lead if he can keep his current form. Even though Larson hasn’t raced at this track, he was the runner-up at Darlington which is the most similar track to this one.

Defending Cup Series champion Chase Elliott has also been racing in good form recently. He moved up to third place in the overall standings. Elliott won in Austin and finished on the podium three more times out of the last four races. His odds to win again is +650 in the NASCAR Ally 400 predictions. Followed closely by Martin Truex Jr. who has three wins this season, including a victory at Darlington. After some less impressive results the Joe Gibbs Racing driver got back to the podium last weekend. Now his odds to finish on top is +700 on BetOnline.

Hamlin and Byron are also in the favorites

The current leader of this year’s championship, Denny Hamlin is still without a win in 2021. It is a very weird situation after he won seven races last season. The 2019 runner-up is still ahead of everyone but would need some better result now. After finishing out of the top five in the last four races. Hamlin has already raced at Nashville on five occasions as an Xfinity Series driver, though it was more than a decade ago. Now his odds to finally win his first race of the season is +800.

William Byron was only 13, when the last NASCAR event was held at the track. But the Hendrick Motorsports driver is having a superb season so far with 12 top 10 finishes. He is in 4th place in the championship and can easily achieve the best result of his career this year. Online gambling sites in the US offer the odds of +1100 for his victory in his debut at Nashville. Team Penske driver Joey Logano has already won at this track in 2009 so he is also mentioned in the favorites with the odds of +1200. He has some mixed results this year, but finished 4th in the previous race. Which might be a good sign ahead of this race.
