  • Dire Wolves look to perform at the level of their old form

Split 2 of the DoorDash League of Legends Circuit Oceania, or LCO is around the corner. The eight best teams in the region are competing for a massive prize pool and a seat at Worlds. We look at all the competing teams and their best LCO Split 2 odds.

LCO is the top-level esports competition of LoL in Oceania. It was founded in 2021 after the dissolution of  OPL. So far we had one season of LCO, with Pentanet.gg coming out victorious. Split 2 is kicking off on 15 June. By the end of July, the regular season will complete, then in August, the playoffs will take place.

As online sportsbook news sites in Australia reported eight teams are competing in the tournament. They are Pentanet.gg, Peace, The Chiefs, Dire Wolves, ORDER, Legacy Esports, Mammoth, and Gravitas. A massive $30,000USD prize pool and a pathway to the Worlds are on the line. Here is our preview of all the contenders and their exciting LCO Split 2 odds from the most to the least favorites.

Pentanet.gg look capable of defending their title

Split 1 champions are the first LCO team to make a competitive run at MSI. They advanced beyond the first stage, only to drop out at the knockout stage against MAD Lions. They hope to get back strong and prove they are worthy contenders at the international scene. However, first the need to win Split 2, which is not easy but possible. At Bet365 Sportsbook, their LCO Split 2 odds are 1.57 to win back-to-back LCO.

Peace finished runners-up in Split 1

This is one of the newest teams in the league. However, they are already playing at the highest level. They came so close to winning the inaugural LCO only to lose against Pentanet.gg. So, we shall expect another strong run from Peace with 3.00 odds to win Split 2.

Dire Wolves will try to bounce back

According to online sportsbooks in Australia, Dire Wolves might have a chance to come back strong. They finished fourth in split 1. That was a big hit for Dire Wolves as a couple of years ago they were the top team in the region. For a comeback, their LCO Split 2 odds value 13.00.

The Chiefs LCO Split 2 odds look good

This is one of the extremely experienced teams and they showed a lot of potentials to be strong contenders for the top spot. They finished third in Split 1. So, obviously, with a little bit of improvement, a win will be on the sight with 17.00 odds.

ORDER needs a big boost

In 2020 ORDER achieved a close second place to Legacy in the final Split of the OPL. However, this year it did not go according to plan. Will ORDER be able to turn things around in Split 2? The odds suggest it might happen with a 26.00 value.

Legacy Esports face a big setback

They were founded in 2014. In 2020, they were crowned back-to-back OPL Champions. Besides, they had a memorable performance at Worlds 2020. However, it did not go well for Legacy Esports this year. They failed to qualify for the Split 1 playoffs, but for Split 2 their chances are 251.00.

Gravitas look promising

The team that was founded in 2018 is one of the freshest teams in the LoL competitive scene. They have a promising line-up, so it is good to keep an eye on their performance. Their odds to shock the region and win are 501.00.

Mammoth’s LCO Split 2 odds are very slim

The former OPL 2019 Split 2 champions lost their form in 2020. However, they are still trying to regain that form this year and show they are back in contention. In split 1 they failed to advance to the playoffs. So, it remains to be seen how they will perform next. Their odds stand at 1001.0 for an unlikely win.
