The media is already measuring up odds on Boris Johnson surviving this latest scandal. They know this could break him. The British public will put up with many things, but literally feathering your own nest at the people’s expense? Oh dear. Online sportsbook sites in the UK like Bet365 are now offering just 5/2 on Boris failing to see out the year. If the electoral commission find evidence of wrongdoing, that might prove a great bet on politics in the UK.

Boris Johnson is living proof you should always be careful what you wish for. He always wanted to be Prime Minister. He got his wish. Now it’s choking him. Scandals beset Boris at every turn. Even for a Conservative government this is quite the collection of indecencies. Rather amusingly, they’d normally wriggle free of such things. But this is a time of national crisis, and it puts a different complexion on everything. Something you can bet on Boris Johnson beginning to realize.

It’s actually hard to keep track of it all. The Greensill lobbying scandal is perhaps a good place to start. You can bet on Boris Johnson having some harsh words for David Cameron after that. But it has already faded a little in the public mind. After all, the Prime Minister met with the CEO of Man Utd days before the disastrous European Super League announcement. Did he approve of the idea? If he did it’s the worst bet on sports in the UK ever. It would cook his goose entirely.

Scandals Pile Up On British PM

Not that he needs football to achieve this. He can do it with interior design. Dominic Cummings, former advisor to Boris, has made some devastating allegations. Perhaps the most damaging relating to the refurbishment of No.11 Downing Street. You can bet on Boris Johnson now regretting taking money from party donors to pay for the work. He probably already knew it was illegal, of course, he’ll just be sorry now that people found out. Worse still, Cummings has more.

Next Conservative Leader Odds

  • Mark Francois – 250/1
  • Liam Fox – 100/1
  • Nigel Farage – 50/1
  • Jacob Rees-Mogg – 28/1
  • Tom Tugendhat – 25/1
  • Matthew Hancock – 18/1
  • James Cleverly – 18/1
  • Liz Truss – 16/1
  • Sajid Javid – 16/1
  • Priti Patel – 16/1
  • Jeremy Hunt – 14/1
  • Dominic Raab – 14/1
  • Michael Gove – 5/1
  • Rishi Sunak – 7/4

Comments made by the Prime Minister concerning the health crisis do nothing to engender confidence in his leadership. Dominic Cummings highlighted a rather egregious statement. The PM may denied saying it, but few other present seem inclined to contradict Cumming’s recollection. So, you may want to take advantage of UK gambling laws to bet on Boris Johnson getting kicked out for lying to parliament. It could happen. The Electoral Commission is no joke.

Bet On Boris Johnson Getting Ousted At Bet365

Now for those rubbing their hands in glee, perhaps those who’ve bet on the Labour Party to recover and win an election, stay calm. The opposition may have the advantage but they’re not taking it. Who would have bet on Keir Starmer getting thrown out of a pub in Bath? That’s not political surefootedness. Sure, Keir is great at PMQs, but the Westminister Village isn’t where the voters live. The odds on the Labour Party won’t improve till they get their act together.

Bet On Boris Johnson’s Exit Date

  • 2022 – 5/1
  • 2023 – 9/2
  • 2021 – 5/2
  • 2024+ – 10/11

You can bet on Boris Johnson being quite happy Keir Starmer is such a stuffed shirt. If he weren’t Boris would have been stuffed long ago. Right now the odds on the Conservative Party ridding themselves of Boris are shorter than those on him losing the next election. They know a dead horse when the tabloids are flogging it. So, why not bet on the Conservatives dumping him and replacing him with Rishi Sunak? Online betting sites in the UK like Bet365 will give you a good price.
