Betway Lands Davis Cup Sponsorship Deal

The Fed Cup and Davis Cup sponsorship deal provides three years of courtside ad-space for Betway.

Betway, one of the world’s leading sportsbetting and gaming companies, will be the international sponsor of the Davis Cup and the Fed Cup by BNP. The agreement ensures that “Betway will receive branding on court at all Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group ties.” The deal was signed for three years, which means that Betway’s branding will be seen at both events until 2018.

“Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas fit perfectly within our roster of exciting, high profile sponsorships,” commented Anthony Werkman, Marketing and Operations Director of Betway. The Davis Cup Final in Belgium is especially important for the company. “[Belgium] is a key market for us following our recent launch in the country,” said Werkman. In collaboration with the tournaments’ organizers, Betway will provide various opportunities for fan engagement.

Haggerty hopes that the sponsorship will further strengthen their flagship events. “Betway is a well-respected international betting brand,” he added, clarifying that “the ITF and Betway share the mission to keep the sport of tennis clean.”

Extension of the sponsorship deals with Rolex and Adecco

Earlier this year, the ITF has already announced the renewal of Adecco’s and Rolex’s sponsorship. It’s not surprising, since “Rolex has been the Official Timekeeper of Davis Cup since 2007.” The company sponsors many prestigious tennis events, including Wimbledon. Adecco is not only a sponsor, but also the Official HR Partner of the ITF’S two team competitions. Their deal was extended until 2019.
