Between 27 and 28 February, 12 teams will compete online at the North American major for a $100,000 prize pool. They will also vie for top points towards the world championships. The winner will get 802 points which can entirely change the current standings. The top three teams are only 50-100 points apart, while the fourth-placed team is 700 behind the frontrunner.

With the competition still wide open, it is very exciting to place an RLCS North American major betting. We dwell here on the current four biggest and worst teams in North America. They are NRG, Team Envy, SSG, and Rogue. Each one of the four teams has a strong chance of winning, as per online sportsbooks in the United States.

The defending champions NRG look for a strong comeback

One of North America’s strongest teams NRG has struggled in several tournaments in 2020. The team then faced a deeper crisis when it lost the four-time world champ Turbo to the top rivals Team Envy. However, many commentators at online sportsbook news sites in the United States consider it as a short setback about to end.

Recently NRG did in fact bounce back to reach the Grand Final of RLCS X Games Winter regional only to lose against Rogue. Afterward, NRG released a statement on their official web that they are looking to regroup and focus up for the major at the end of the month.

Despite that 2020 was an unpleasant year for NRG, the team remains the defending champions winning the RLCS finals in 2019. If you trust NRG to come back to its previous best, you can place an RLCS North American major bet. The odds are 3.75 for NRG to likely win at Bet365 Sportsbook.

Team Envy is on top of the leaderboards

The Team Envy is a fresh competitor that reentered Rocket League in April 2020. They had a very strong run winning three NA Regional events in a row starting from the Fall Regional. Now they are the top team at North American leaderboards, but with a few points ahead of NRG and SSG. With Turbo on their side, they can win the next event with 4.50 odds.

SSG had a good run in 2020

The Spacestation Gaming referred to as SSG was founded in 2018. Soon they have risen to the top level in North America. In 2020 they won a couple of regional tournaments. These were their best results since they entered the Rocket League competitive scene. SSG is the third favorite RLCS North American major betting odds with a 5.00 value to win.

Rogue won the recent tournament

Despite that Rogue are fourth-placed on the leaderboards, they are very dangerous. This January Rogue won the North American RLCS Season X Winter Regional 3. It was their first-ever RLCS tournament win. Many perceive the reason for such great performance is the culmination of Rogue’s roster reconstruction in 2020. Their odds are 7.00 to win again, which will completely change the NA top flight.
