Why bet on Nomadland to win awards in 2021?

If you would like to join betting on films to win awards, Nomadland is your win-win option. Due to a number of reasons, the film has high chances of winning both the Golden Globes and Oscars.

As we have already mentioned, Nomadland leads the odds to win all four Golden Globe prizes in 2021. Following Bet365 Sportsbook, the film has 1.80 odds to win Best Motion Picture (drama). Its leading actress Frances McDormand has 4.33 odds to win her second Golden Globe in acting. Both film and actress are likely to receive Oscar nominations as well, so you can also profit from it.

Finally, Chloé Zhao surpasses David Fincher on her way to the Best Director award with 1.28 odds. If she wins, she will become the second woman to win this award. Previously, only five female directors got nominations with Barbra Streisand winning it in 1983.

As Hollywood didn’t pay much attention to female directors, this year is a good chance to fix it. With Zhao leading all the odds, she is highly likely to receive both nomination and awards at the Oscars. Taking it into consideration, you should bet on Nomadland to win awards for Best Director and Best Picture at the upcoming ceremonies.
