Seven top 10 players will compete, but Djokovic is not playing this time
Following his great victory at the Roland Garros, Rafael Nadal can win another title in Paris, this time at the Rolex Paris Masters. The event is played on an indoor hard court and it’s held this week, between the 2nd and 8th of November. Beside the world No2 six other top 10 players will also compete in the tournament. Nadal is still the top favorite in the ATP Paris betting odds in the absence of Novak Djokovic.
In the 49th edition of the ATP Masters 1000 event, Rafael Nadal can win his 36th Masters 1000 title and tie world ranking leader Novak Djokovic’s record. But he won’t have an easy job as the field is very strong and includes six other top 10 players. In addition Nadal has never won this tournament before, but certainly he has a great chance of doing so after the withdrawal of defending champion Djokovic. Other favorites include Russian Daniil Medvedev and German Alexander Zverev who all start the event in the second round.
ATP Paris betting odds favor Nadal to win
Online sportsbooks in France offer the smallest odds for the victory of Rafael Nadal. He can win his third ATP title this season beside his 13th French Open title. It was also his 20th Grand Slam title and one of the most memorable after knocking out Novak Djokovic in the final with an almost perfect play. Now the Spanish star can get another important win in Paris. The tournament is also the last Masters 1000 event of the season before the ATP Finals in London. Nadal has already secured his place there just like most of his main rivals here. He will start against the winner of the Filip Krajinovic vs Feliciano Lopez match.
The second seed of the tournament is Stefanos Tsitsipas, who has the odds of 7.50 to win his first Masters 1000 title. The young Greek player is 5th in the world ranking after winning his 5th ATP title. The Open 13 tournament in Marseille this February. He also reached the final of the Dubai Tennis Championship where he was defeated by Djokovic. In the US Open he only reached the third round, but did much better in the Roland Garros. Tsitsipas got to the semi-finals beating Grigor Dimitrov and Andrey Rublev on his way. As the defending ATP finals champion he can get a big boost with a great result here.
Russian players are also in the favorites
Online gambling sites in France also mention Daniil Medvedev in the favorites in their ATP Paris betting odds. The Russian world No6 is doing exceptionally well indoors as he won three ouf his five latest ATP titles in this environment. After reaching the semi-finals at the US Open, he can go all along in Paris. Even though he only got to the second round last year, he should do better this time. He is likely to start against South African Kevin Anderson, who beat him in their last meeting in Vienna.
While another Russian player, Andrey Rublev has been in top form recently. He has won three ATP 500 tournaments since August including his last victory from Vienna last week. He also guaranteed his place now in the ATP Finals. But surely Rublev wants to improve in Paris too and win his first match in the tournament. He has the odds of 9.00 on 1xBet to get another trophy just like Alexander Zverev. The German world No7 is also in good form after winning two ATP 250 events in October. He got to the quarter-finals here in 2018, now he can get an even better result here before going to the ATP Finals.
