Liverpool Signs Belgian Striker Benteke

Belgian striker Benteke has signed for Liverpool Football Club for a new record fee of GBP 32.5m as he hopes to help his new team challenge for the title.

The Reds have acquired their seventh signing of the transfer window. Benteke, 24, has been immense for Aston Villa since he signed for the club in 2012. For most parts of last season, bad form and injuries plagued all of Liverpool’s strikers. The new Belgian talent is a proven goal scorer in the Premier League.
