Ali is Team Pacquiao all the way
In a recent interview with TMZ, Muhammed Ali’s daughter stated that her father was for “team Pacquiao all the way.” Rasheda Ali, also continue to elaborate on the esteem her father hold for Manny Pacquiao. “My dad really likes Manny. He’s a huge fan of his.” Ali, who many consider to be the greatest boxer in the history of the sport, chose to not attend the superbout between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather on the May 2nd.
Rasheda also revealed that her father’s reasoning also go beyond Pacquiao’s fighting abilities. “He knows Manny’s a great fighter but it’s more about what he does outside the ring.” Rasheda goes on to talk about the various things that Pacquiao does for other people. “He’s such a charitable person.” Despite Ali’s pedigree, his endorsement probably won’t change the betting odds in mobile sports betting.
Ali’s Similarities to Pacquiao
One may hear of Ali’s favorite for the “Fight of the Century” and be somewhat confused. After all, Floyd Mayweather brings an attitude to boxing that was very similar to what Muhammed Ali did in his prime. Also, most fans would fail to see any similarities in the boxing styles of Ali and Pacquiao. The difference may be precisely what Ali referred to as his behavior “outside the ring.”
Ali’s prominence was sealed when he used his boxing to “transcend” his sport. Being a three-time heavyweight champ is great, but as Ali said “I wanted to use my fame, and this face to inspire people around the world.” Pacquiao’s involvement in charitable contributions is well-known in US gambling laws. Ali’s built a post-boxing career as an international ambassador of goodwill and diplomacy.
