Casino Marbella will host Marbella Poker Festival between 4-17 April, offering two exiting tournaments: the bwin.es World Poker Tour Bwin.es and the Grand Live.

Casino Marbella made it again into the gambling news, as it will be hosting Main event of the World Poker Tour for the third time. The most famous European poker players will face each other, joining around 1,000 players, which will show their techniques in the six Cash Game tables available every night.

The two tournaments

The WPT Bwin.es will take place on 10-11 April, where the buy-in is up to EUR 550, following all Spanish gambling laws. The quality of the games will be as high as usual, whereas the buy-in will be lower. Various satellites will be held at different prices, freeze out and re-buys.

There will also be several side events in addition to the Cash Game, which will be hosted every day for players to enjoy various options to play. The most important of these side events will be the one with EUR 1,500 buy-in on 12-13 April.

The Grand Live will start on 13th April with the first satellite, also offering several side events and EUR 1,100 Main event on 14th April.

There were a lot of famous names at the Festival last year: James Dempsey, WPT and WSOP winner; Elisabeth Hille, 11th place at WSOP 2012 and James Akenhead, final table at WSOP. The most eminent Spanish poker players also took part, some of them were Leo Margets, Jordi Alekhine, Juan Maceiras and Tomeu Gomila ‘Amatos’.
